Independent verification of the quantity and condition of fuel oil and marine diesel onboard a vessel during delivery, redelivery, or other operational requirements.

Scope
Inspection of bunker tanks, measurement and recording of fuel quantities, verification of tank calibration data, review of bunker documents, calculation of ROB quantities, and identification of fuel grades onboard.
Process
Attend the vessel, verify tank measurements and sounding records, inspect relevant bunker documentation, calculate fuel quantities based on approved calibration tables, reconcile the results, and issue a bunker survey report.
